Last week, Catherine Simon passed away aged 70. We mourn the loss of this grande dame of children’s theatre in French-speaking Belgium where she was a former president of CTEJ and worked as a programmer for Centre Culturel Jacques Franck for 30 years. She also co-founded the festival Noël au Théâtre and generally encouraged cooperation across the language border. You can read an article (in French) on her work here.
