When judging quality, is there a universal notion of ‘excellence’? What determines our idea of quality? What are the parameters for judging quality in an aesthetic experience? Who defines quality? Are some notions of quality culturally dependant? And if so, can we say that the culture of childhood has its own parameters of quality?
